To access the various resources in Generate, click on the word “Resources” from either the top menu bar or from the toolbar on the right, as shown in the screenshots below, respectively, from left to right.
To access Generate’s User Guide, click on “User Guide” from the Resources submenu. The User Guide will open in a new browser window.
If you have a question about Generate and want to ask a member of the CIID team about it, click on “CIID Support” from the Resources submenu. An email addressed to CIIDTA will open on your default email application allowing you to email the CIID team directly with your request.
The CEDS Data Model, Align, and Connect tools are resources used by Generate. If you have a question about a CEDS map, data element, or a Connection, click on “CEDS Support” from the Resources submenu and the CEDS “Request Assistance” page will open in a new browser window.
If you have questions or need assistance with EDFacts, click on “EDFacts Support” from the Resource submenu. This will open the U.S. Department of Education’s Partner Support Center (PSC) webpage.
If you have questions or need assistance with IDEA SPP/APR Indicators, click on “IDEA SPP/APR Indicators Support” from the Resource submenu. This will open the SPP/APR Community website.
If you want to know what version of Generate your state is using, click on “About Generate.” The version and environment you are using will display in the upper left-hand corner of the page.
If you want to review the release notes for any version of Generate, go to “Resources > About,” and click on the link to Release Notes.
